WORST WIRELESS COMPANY, DO NOT DO BUSINESS with SunCom

Cons: You MUST call SunCom exactly 1 month before the end of contract to discontinue service.
The Bottom Line: Do Not Sign up with SunCom, Stay away from them and let them rot.

THEY ARE THE WORST WIRELESS PROVIDER I HAVE HAD. I hope FCC take back their licenses and bandwidth.
There are endless BAD things about SunCom, here is just a few.
1. They lie about their service: (I am not sure if they still do) they claim you can switch to AT&T wireless service if you moved out of SunCom coverage without any penalty. But what they didn't tell you is that if you have a deal when you get your mobile phone, you will NOT be eligible for such transistion. So either you know ahead and paid the mobile phone at regular price, or you will have to live with expensive roaming charges when you move out coz they WILL NOT HONOR what they promised.
2. Unlike any normal wireless company nowaday, SunCom has a very annonying policy for discontinuing services after contract expire. Normally, (companies like Cingular/AT&T, Verizon) after the contract is fulfilled, you can terminated you contract anytime you like. SunCom's Policy is that you HAVE TO CALL THEM 1 month before the exiting contract expire if you decided you do not want to extend. Otherwise, they assume you want to sign the contract for another year. Unless you are a very organized person and have palm pilot to remind you to call SunCom, chances are you WILL forget to call and you got stuck with another year of service with SunCom.
3. SunCom webpage is also worst I have seen. For example, under "Contact Us", you are required to fill in the zip code in order to be able to send the form out. 22903 (Charlottesville, VA) used to be covered by SunCom before they sold it to Cingular recently. So, nowaday if you try to put 22903 in it, the webpage will not accept. What this indicate you if you ask me? This organization either lack communication between departments or they just hired a buch or morons running the company.
4. If you want the latest/coolest phone, sorry they do not carry them and they will tell you they do not support.
I wish this company run out-of -business ASAP.
