You captured the backstory of the Monastery perfectly, and your descriptions matched the pictures. Even so, I think this is one destination I'll skip, though, thank you very much. Thanks for posting the pictures.

was only in Lima overnight so I didn't get to check out this one. I did spend quite a bit of time in Quito though and did check out every one of their churches. Loved them. I guess it's because in Oregon where I grew up we didn't have fascinating old churches (and relatively speaking the ones in South America are still new compared to Europe).
Now, ask me about the time I went around a cemetery in Costa Rica snapping pictures of all the fascinating crypts.
