It really is like a mini-vacation, reading your postings. I can see and hear everything!

Theory on the subject of the essay - certain cultures have an ingrained phobia regarding picture taking - capturing the soul and all that. But perhaps he just knew that his likeness was worth something to you.

I'm constantly reminded how dazzling the travel memoirs of JAMES23 would be in book form.

(And I'm hoping I'd have the inside connections to get an autographed copy.)

Some weekend, cull the puppies of the site and reassemble them in a chronology or other categorization. I'll bet you'll be surprised at the state of your manuscript.
