The Bottom Line Buy the high quality material, you'll do less work and enjoy it a lot longer.

Non-Stick cookware really proves the age old adage, "You get what you pay for."

If you go out and buy the really cheap stuff, you're going to hate it. The lesser brands and cheaper made ones all tend to scratch up and wear out in a hurry. We made the mistake of purchasing one little egg skillet that was the least expensive on the rack. Even using only plastic utensils, hand washing with soft cloths, and taking great care with this pan didn't help. It was garbage in less than 6 months.

Recently, we purchased a small and expensive set of anodized aluminum non-stick cookware. This stuff is absolutely fantastic. Well worth the extra cost. Even a goof when we forgot and used a metal implement for stirring didn't scratch up and ruin the non-stick surface. We've since purchased some high quality spoons, forks, ladles, and spatulas for use with these pans to prevent wearing them out too soon. After several months of use, these pots and pans still look like new.

We got them through the "Pampered Chef" but have seen comparable models in local stores. We've added to the set by purchasing similar ones locally and have been very pleased with these pans.

After throwing away numerous, less expensive, non-stick pots and pans, we can honestly say that you want to find and buy the very best quality you can afford. In that way, you'll get something that can last long enough to make it worth what you paid for it and to make your life easier in the process.
