I'm really thrilled that JascSoftware has made such an outstanding product, and continues to add new, and useful features with every new version. I use this product a LOT, and it goes above and beyond any other product at the same price. It can really give you the bang for the buck.

I cannot say that Photoshop is inferior to PSP7, simply because Photoshop can do so much more, and some of the features are of higher quality. For example, if you were to use the gradient tool PSP7, it would show bands of color as opposed to Photoshop, where using this tool, there are no bands to be seen, just a beautiful gradient. Photoshop continues to beat out any other competition, and I don't consider PSP7 to be in competition.

PSP7 was designed to be a "budget" type of paint program, not something that graphics professionals would want to use. PSP7 does exactly what it was designed to do, and does it more so. This program probably exceeds most home user's needs. I highly recommend this product to any non-professional user, who needs a cheap, powerful graphics program.
