Beat me! Beat me! Harder! Harder! (Reply to this comment)

Darling Tanster:
Halfway through this review I started compiling items on hand that could turn into a sumptuous stir-fry. Now, even with your semi-negative, quasi-positive review, I am starving. You have that effect on me. What I need to do is stick with your Omron review and those of its ilk. If I don't my waistband size will match my questionable IQ.
Great review as always, your restaurant reviews always shine!
Love ya,
Helen

Masochistic dining? (Reply to this comment)
by naphtalia
Some of the food sounds very tasty. Thanks for including info on the veggie stuff...very important to some of us.
As to being a masochist...well, it's better than never being chist at all.

pan-asian, hmmm... (Reply to this comment)

those eggroll samosas sound like trouble. i have enough problems with samosa as it is. and pan-asian I just tend to stay away from.
It's interesting, now that I think about it. until i lived in boston, i never even considered going anywhere pan-asian. in new york/new jersey, for asian food, there were enough ethnic restaurants to sate your palate, that going to some pan-asian place with hispanic cooks just sounds crazy. anyway, sounds like a reasonable place. something i will have to check out.
sigh. i am on a marathon run to visit as many new york restaurants as I can and am falling in love with all these great places.
guess i will have to start all over again soon. i guess that's also a lot of fun too.

True dedication... (Reply to this comment)

...I'm like your beau -- if I don't like a place, it's pretty hard to get me to go back at all, even if it is closeby. Of course, if I do like a place, it means I liked whatever I ordered, which inevitably becomes the only thing I order there when I return. Me = not a good restaurant reviewer. You = the best restaurant reviewer. Math is fun when it works like that.
