The Bottom Line They are fine, but why wouldn't you get Rudys?
Why would anyone pay $120 and up for Oakleys? well, sure they're nice galsses, but Rudy Projects are better and up to and above $50 cheaper, plus all the Europaean pros wear them (for all you cycling fans). In addition, Rudy will ALWAYS replace scratched or broken lenses for only a shipping and handling charge, does Oakley do that? Rudy Projects also have a myriad of lenses to choose from, starting at about $20. If you break your Rudys, you can also usually get a new pair from the company for, again, only a shipping and handling fee. Their frames are as good looking or better than Oakleys, plus they are made out of much cooler materials such as carbon. Kerosenes are widely said to be the most technologically advanced frames around, with their venting and all. With all of these advantages, why would anyone buy Oakleys? I don't know, but I guess you could go ask one of the poor souls who just paid $200 for glasses that are inferior to $115 Rudys.
