This 17" TFT display from Samsung is a true beauty of design with excellent usability. The picture is razor sharp from almost any angle, something rarely found in flat panel monitors. A bright and clear display at a full 17 inches easily beats out my old 19" CRT display. The menu system is easy to use with lots of great features like auto-adjustment, zooming, and color adjustment. Built in speakers are good quality, and TV tuner + remote is a dream to use. I have my cable TV plugged directly into the antenna port, my VCR plugged into S-Video, and my DVDs playing through my computer. The remote control is easy to use and comfortable to the hand (unlike the large, bulky remotes that have become ever prevalent with normal televisions). Samsung's support is excellent and the service representatives are knowledgeable. Picture-in-picture is wonderful for working on the computer. I have used a fair share of monitors, and this is by far my favorite. Just be sure to keep it in its native resolution of 1280x1024, and it will look great. At lower resolutions your mileage may vary, as with all Liquid crystal displays.
