I just sent an e-mail asking my father if the cabinet I am thinking about getting this for has 8 7/8" in height clearance.

Hi, thanks for mentioning this. You're not the one with the problem. I neglected to put the price in that we paid, thinking that its being less than the TV asking price was sufficient.
WalMart was asking $16.95 for it.

your article it seems the base is already anchored, so there is no need to ruin the bottom of my cupboard to mount these. That would have been one reason I would have avoided them. I will take another look at them now, with a little more open mind, or possibly as a gift for someone.

Thanks, Alan. I think your comment is funny. I think I know what you mean as I said to someone else that I seem to always be trying to organize my organizers.
But this is a little different. It sits by itself, not bothering you, and just waits for you to come by. LOL

I have just gotten rid many "organizers" in my house as they were creating clutter. I was spending more time setting them up and having too many of them to store things that I don't use!
Anyhow, a great review, this probably is a good product for someone starting out or moving. I'm at the point of simplifying my life!!!!
