Everyone has heard about it.. People waiting for hours to get their hands on Sony's newest gaming system.. small supply for a large demand.. well, finally, they are becoming more abundant.. i got mine at the local EB store.. 299.99.. not bad, but not so cheap either.. either way, it was at MSRP, so i was happy..
anyway, i previously had n64.. and i can easily say that these two systems are not comparable.. the ps2 graphics are so detailed and realistic, its almost sickening.. my two current games for the system are midnight club street racing and allstar baseball 2002.. both games are incredibly crisp in graphic detail.. the only downside besides price, would be the loading time, since it is cd/dvd based gaming system, its understandable that there is some wait time for the game to load.. i'm just a little impatient..
the great thing about being cd/dvd based, is that u can play your dvd movies on this system.. now that sounds pretty good right?.. arcade gaming and dvd movies?.. for 299?.. well, i think every time i think about it, the price sounds better and better.. but either way for my wallet 299 is 299.. no matter what i get for it.. its not loose change for me..
Overall, an excellent system.. if u can afford it, go for it.. you won't be regretting it.. and it'll provide you hours and hours of fun.. each day!!
