A visit to Schloss Linderhof, the Palace of 'Mad King Ludwig II' is a perfect day trip from Munich, Oberammergau or Garmisch. Don't miss it!

Isn't it funny how Germany didn't like Ludwig while he had the throne as he almost bankrupted the country, but now they make millions off of his efforts annually?

I remember the gilded boat in the grotto as a swan, but it could be because of his fascination with them in so many other things. Plus, my visit was so long ago.

This was another wonderful review and I look forward to reading many more of your opinions!

Oh boy, Barbara, if I knew how to stop that clock I'd be rich! Mine is ticking away as well - and all those places yet to be explored!
Thanks for reading!

Don't think you're that old of a fossil! If he did come to Australia, he probably would have been kicked out - too fancy!!LOL
