Pros: Good protection, well-designed case with no sharp edges
Cons: Cannot use connectors while in case, inconvenient to turn on/off while in case
The Bottom Line: Buy this case if you want protection for your T5 while traveling. Buy another case if you want to use the T5 while in the case.

| dantbrown's Full Review: PalmOne Tungsten T5 hard case |
The PalmOne Tungsten T5 hard case is a clamshell case specifically for the T5. The case has a metal exterior and a plastic interior. The interior side of the hinge has a plastic bar that slides into a slot on the side of the T5, holding the T5 securely in the case, while allowing the T5 to pivot like a page in a book. The case also holds up to two cards.
The case is well made, and holds the T5 securely.
To use the T5, open the case. The case rim blocks access to the stylus and the power button, so pivot the T5 far enough to extract the stylus and press the power button. Then let the T5 drop back into the case so you can use it. When done using the T5, pivot the T5 out of the case again to turn off the T5 and return the stylus to its position.
To remove the stylus, use one hand to pull it out and the other hand to hold the case, while a few fingers reach around to prop the T5 in position.
The case rim blocks access to the card slot, the headphone jack, the USB cable connector and the charger connector. Effectively, you have to remove the T5 from the case in order to use any of these connections. You may be able to leave a small card in the T5 while in the case, as long as the card fits entirely within the T5.
Some cases from competitors solve these access problems using holes in the rim of the case. An alternative solution would be to make the rim of the lower half of the clamshell lower to provide access to the connectors.
