Great stuff, but not all blues

Rated a Somewhat Helpful Review by the Epinions community
Pros:Superb guitar work and blues tunes
Cons:Album is about half blues/half rock
The Bottom Line: Fantastic blues cuts but only half the cuts are really blues

I absolutely love Moore's guitar work, and the blues tunes on this one are fantastic. "Midnight Blues" is a true classic, and "As the Years go Passing By", "Still Got the Blues," and "Stop Messin' Round" are fine cuts.

My disappointment is that I'd like to see an entire album dedicated to similar cuts, rather than an album that's half blues and half rock.

Some may be interested to know that Beatle George Harrison is featured on a tune he wrote, "That Kind of Woman."

I love this album, I just wish it had been designed with a little more consistency between cuts. If you're a blues fan, are you going to buy a CD that's half rock & roll?
