I ordered blinds with a width of 35 3/4 inches. Two weeks later I finally received the blinds cut with a 35 1/4 width, half an inch shorter than what I ordered. Those are "room darkenning" honeycomb cells, so 1/2 an inch lets a lot of light penetrating the room, hence making the "room darkenning" blinds totally useless.
I called the customer service person and was told that I would not get the product replaced. I told her the website never informed me explicitly that the blinds I would receive would be 35 1/4 instead of 35 3/4. She argued that because I checked one of the boxes "I agree with...." I should have known about it, and therefore they're not going to replace the blinds, nor will they give a refund.
Their ordering process is very easy, but obviously at the cost of potentially misleading the customer. When you order blinds that have to be of specific precise measurements, you expect that if the merchant knows they're going to cut it shorter, you would be informed of it explicitly so you can adjust the measurements you give them.
They have absolutely no interest in making up to me. I maintain that I did not get the blinds I ordered and therefore I am disputing the charge on my credit card.
I believe one of the most important quality of an online merchant is its ability to resolve issues with customers, it's very obvious these guys are just out there making quick sales, and after that it's just like the Capital One commercial: "No, No, No".
