Like the header says .... great for the money
I paid $804.00 out the door for mine and the picture quality is outstanding when compared to any other 80' plus video solution. I have a great Proscan 47' tv already but its amazing how this looks at 100'+ compared to the Proscan. It also rivals just about any DLP/Plasma I have seen when ran at the same screen size.
A major selling point on the unit was bulb life and price , Ive seen them for $189.00 each and the life is rated at 4000 hours ,so I think the price vs lifespan is very reasonable considering the quality of the image from the unit. It has all the tunability of any other DLP tv/projector ,color ,tint ,contrast etc, all with no screendoor effect that I have seen on other $1000.00 + priced projectors.
Progressive scan looks great and even the S-Video right out of my Satt box looks very nice ,the composite input is even very liveable,a little fuzzy but I have seen much worse.
If you are in the market for a new toy and want a really large quality image then give this unit a test drive and see it too believe it.
One downfall could be there is no remote bundled with it ,but once its setup properly I dont see any real issue here.
