The Bottom Line I enjoy virtually all types of movies, so enjoy what ranks on the top of my list!

The funny thing is, I bet there isn't a single person on Epinions that would ever have the same "top 10 movies of all time list" as anyone else. Of course that's the fun of it... so here's my list! Enjoy!

10. Event Horizon
I really got a kick out of the plot of this one and always enjoy any movie with Laurence Fishburne in it. The special effects were really good and I can only hope they eventually make a sequel for it. I also wish hollywood would make more horror movies, especially ones like Event Horizon.

9. With Honors
With Honors is a touching movie with wonderful performances by Joe Pesci and Brendan Fraser. The movie was very well written with some good humor in the mix. I always enjoy seeing this movie over again every year or two.

8. Return of the Jedi
My uncle took my brother and I to see this movie when it came out back in 1983, and I have loved it ever since. The Ewoks are so cute and the special effects still hold up today!

7. Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn
Sam Raimi took a breakthrough approach to horror movie making with the demon-camera view - You watch through the eyes of the demon as it speeds through the woods searching for a victim! I especially like when Bruce Campbell's hand gets possessed and he has to "remove" it! Hilarious!!

6. Saving Private Ryan
There are not many movies I have seen that I not only really enjoy, but also stick with me weeks after I see them. This is one of those movies. The opening scene is gory, but I think it is important because it allows the audience to come as close as we can to experiencing something none of us ever hope to experience for real - the brutality of war. I read an article around the time the movie came out on video about a few high schools in the U.S. that had actually made this movie a part of studies to get students more interested in American history... and it was working.

5. The Sixth Sense
Bruce Willis set out to prove that he is not just an action star that blows stuff up movie after movie and he succeeded with flying colors in this movie. The story was awe inspiring and the ending was brutally unexpected. I'm sure glad I don’t see dead people.

4. The Iron Giant
I would never have seen this one by choice because I've never been much of a animated movie fan. I'm sure glad my friend was in the mood to watch it again with her husband and 2 daughters (6 and 3) while I was visiting. I especially like the wonderful message at the end of the movie and it's perfect for all ages.

3. The Matrix
Keanu Reeves is stunning in this movie and the special effects are amazing. I really didn't expect this movie to be as good as it was when I first decided to go see it. The helicopter scene on the roof of the sky-scraper is an amazing action sequence. I'm also a huge fan of Laurence Fishburne.

2. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
I have seen this move 100’s times. I can't seem to get sick of it no matter how hard I try. Is it any wonder this was the break-through movie for Jim Carey's career? It is about as funny as they come.

1. The Fifth Element
Since the first time I saw this movie, it has been tops on my list. The story really appealed to me, the action was great, there were lots of laughs, and of course Bruce Willis is the ultimate action hero. Not to mention Gary Oldman plays the best villains.

I also wrote a review of The Fifth Element which you can check out here:
