Keeps things cold, then breaks...over and over

I will keep this short and simple. I purchased this item via the Sharper Image website as a reconditioned item. I wanted a little fridge to keep in my office for water and sodas, nothing more.
The first item broke in a month, it would turn itself off and on all day long making a clicking noise. Sent it back for an exchange. Got the new one. Within 10 days the new one broke too, it started to make this high pitched noise that made my dog scream and made my head want to explode.
Now i wanted a refund and they said NO. I could only get an exchange or a CREDIT for another high priced item at the Sharper Image. I said I don't want that because this item was crappy, so why do i want to overpay on another crappy item.
So now I am going to get another fridge, which will take 3 more weeks to receive so I can just start the exchange cycle over again and again since I cannot get a refund.
This product works well, but breaks on a weekly basis. STAY AWAY.
