Pros: Cheap. Decent picture.

The Bottom Line: Cheaper than the Sonys. Full featured. Did I mention cheap?

Obviously this isn't a Sony Vega or a HDTV set. But for about $250 what more could you want? After ten years of watching a Zenith 14" tube that finally gave out, our family went shopping for a new set. We wanted something cheap, something within our means. This TV fit the bill. It was 25" for $250 at Best Buy. I recently went there again and saw that a similar sized Sony was double or for the Vega triple the price. Sure those have better resolution, but the source is always the same. What's the point of getting a Digital TV when only a few shows are broadcast digitally. I don't think I need to spend an extra few hundred bucks to see Jay Leno digitally. No thank you.
The menu is full featured. You get to choose from several different presets for audio and visual. If you like to have things your own way, it's possible to customize both. You have access to the V-chip, which for me is useless, but I could see concerned parents using it. You could easily prevent kids from watching anything while away. I believe the TV also has an auto-degauss function. Which is very useful. When a screen starts to develop color splotches, degaussing is required, but this TV does it for you.
I love my TV, but I wish they would have put more connectors on the back. The only RCA connectors are in front, good for playing a console games, (PlayStation, Nintendo, Sega...) but it looks cluttered, and there are no other cables except one coaxial cable connector. I would like it if there was an S-Video for a DVD player. That's one of the reasons I have yet to buy a DVD player for the TV. One good thing is that it has a headphone jack for when you wanna watch TV without "disturbing" anyone else.
I think this TV is just fine. Not a TV to wow anyone with, but good for whatever you use a TV for.
Oh just so you know, I have Samsung TV, VCR, and cell phones, but that's really just coincidence. I think :-)
