reminded me of a similar experience I had in
Brazil 2 years ago,we stopped at a public bathroom and to my shock, I found that the attendant had keep of the toilet paper.

To my dismay I found out after I spent 15 frantic mintues digging in my purse for a tissue.

To top it all off, a tip was expected. Not that
I minded leaving a tip, I was just sort of taken
aback by the whole experience.

Great Review!

Well, I must say that I did spend a fair amount of time holding it while I was in China. But sometimes, when you've gotta go...

I'm actually in Evanston - I was at school at Northwestern up until June. And then I graduated - contrary to popular belief, I didn't drop out.

That's all I can say right now...wow. You deserve a medal. I couldn't do it. ~Amanda cowers away, head in hands-the sight alone is too much to bear.~

Anyway, I noticed you're from Chicago...whereabouts? I'm stationed in Great Lakes...

Great epinion-you totally captured my full attention-very rare.

I have to tell you, you are braver than I am. I would probably have been on the first plane home. Very informative review. Thanks.

That idea about a book regarding bathrooms of the world would not be a bad idea...

Actually, if you want some great bathroom humor, this is my brother's website:

http://pubweb.nwu.edu/~jrt215/Toilets-R-Us.html

It's pretty self-explanatory, and if you like toilets, it's a site for you.

I thought the article was timely...I can just imagine members of the synchronized swimming team showing up in a bathroom without an actual toilet. Those would be faces I would like to see.

Amazingly helpful article considering the political and diplomatic but rather weird choice for the Olympics 2008. I enjoyed your article a lot; great work!
