I've had this controller for about a year now I think, and so far it has primarily been used as the #2 controller whenever I play split-screen. The feel of the controller is really good, its not really hard but feels more rubbery. The design is only slightly different from the S controller made by Microsoft and takes about 30 seconds to get used to. All of the buttons feel and press fine and dandy and the thumb sticks are neat because they have clear green balls under the black pad where you put your thumb, so if you get bored enough you can enjoy about 25 seconds of pure entertainment by watching the innards of the controller. As for battery life, I've only had to change the battery once, but, I've only used it about 15 hours. There is a drawback to all of you Xbox Live gamers out there however. There is no expansion slot on the controller, so, no memory card or Xbox Live Microphone will be able to plug into it. At the base-station thing that comes out about 5 inches away from your xbox, there is a place that you an plug in a memory card or microphone, but you would have to be awfully close to the Xbox to be able to use it. So, if you play within 5 inches + the length of your microphone, go ahead and buy it, otherwise you should look somewhere else.
