Choosing a law school: Go to the best school ... for you
by Krissieliz | Jul 26 '01
Decide what characteristics are most important to you, and use this to guide your decision - not what US News & World Report has to say.

While a bit dated, this post is a great source of information for those who are undecided about which law school would be best for them to attend. I find it very interesting that you chose your "safety" school, but realize that it was the best decision for you and that the "best" school you were accepted to may not have been the right fit for you. For others searching for the best law school to attend, http://www.vault.com/wps/portal/usa/education/law-school?programtype=2954 might be an interesting source as opposed to the more traditional LSAC websites.

Having visited many law schools and researched the US News rankings I agree with the premise of this article. I recently found a great website with a wealth of information on choosing a law school.
www.HowToPickALawSchool.com.
Check if out if you want.

...the right choice for you. And, that's all that really matters. You've looked at your choices and intelligently evaluated them for your own personal needs, so that's what counts in deciding if a school suits you.

Congratulations, Krissieliz. Good luck!

. . . a virtue.

While I try to be virtuous - waiting months between your superb postings is testing.

there is still time, you could not go to law school at all... :)

If you are already doing Lexis research, you will be a step ahead of your contemporaries, to whom things like 979 F.2d 1846 will be a mysterious, uncrackable code.

Good luck (you're gonna need it).

Excellent judgment already!! (Reply to this comment)

Truth be told, nobody in the courtroom cares where you went to law school. All they care about are your skills, character and personality. Sounds like you're already ahead of the game.

Good Luck. Take no prisoners!!!

on your acceptance AND a VH opinion. Your logic, reasoning, and values assure that you'll succeed on your own terms - and what's better than that!

Best wishes and best regards,
