Shelly,
I had been planning on writing my review of this out but, for some goofy reason, like maybe the fact that I'm pre-occupied with getting as much music on my laptop as possible (up to over 4000! tracks from all my OWN cds). So, I have neglected much of anything except for music, work and more music!
Anyway, I should write up my own review of this someday, perhaps as I take my 16 hour flight to Beijing!

Ha! Your welcome for the Casio review. It's a nifty little camera--still working well for me too! Great pics and pocket-sized.
Glad I'm not alone in my appreciation for this little album. I will certainly be buying Benson's previous two when I get off my duff.
Thanks for stopping by.

I Love This Album! (Reply to this comment)

Shelly,
This is my favorite pop/rock, ahh hell, my favorite overall, record to come out this year. It's such an unexpected power-pop treat. As for his first two records, Don't wait to buy them. Lapalco isn't much different than this one sonically but "One Mississippi," Available as a re-issue that features The Wellfed Boy EP as well from StarTime.
Also wanted to give you a thumbs up for your Casio Exilim review. I read that months ago and remembered how much you liked the camera so I purchased it before the 4th of July. It'll serve me well while I'm off in China.
Great review as always!
