"NEW" DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN "NEW". We purchased a "NEW" Camera, only to find that it came in an unsealed box, had scratches all over, missing paint, wrong user manual, items in plastic bags sealed with Scotch Tape, The memory card was not in it's original packaging either and was also in a plastic bag sealed with scotch tape. Camera For Less stated that it was discontinued model and had been in the warehouse for a long time. They also stated if we wanted a NEW camera, we should not purchase a discontinued model? They assured me it came from Nikon direct. When I pulled off the shipping label (since I received no packing slip) I could see there was a label underneath theirs. The box came from Essex (a company similar to Ebay) and the shipping weight was EXACTLY the same. I would also like to know why if it has been in the warehouse for a long time, why did I have to wait a month to receive it? I am with Local Government - they first accepted a Purchase Order, once they got the camera ready to ship, they said they would not ship it without a credit card. They knew if it shipped on a P.O. - they would not get paid. Customer Service was great until we received the camera. BEWARE!
