HSN is better than most

I've spent about $5000 at HSN in the past 18 months. I gave them my email address and they send me confirmations, order status reports, shipping reports and tracking numbers if it is applicable. As with any on line purchase, you have to take the responsibility to follow the order, and read the confirmation carefully. You can catch double ordering, wrong shipping address, incorrect color or other things that are wrong with the order. If you catch it immediately, call them, it is fixed ASAP. If an item arrives broken or defective, they will pay the return postage by reimbursing you if you call and tell them this.
I have ordered a complete PC, wireless laptop, 2 digital cameras, shoes, watches, jewelry, tons of clothing and many gifts sent to others. The problems have been minor. I expect to pay return postage if I don't like the item. I always buy the HSN protection plan because they will totally refund your money if you send it back while covered by the insurance.
The HSN web site is intuitive if you know what you are looking for. The search engine will take you where you want to go, and also give you the capability of comparing similar products. As a registered user, check out is simple, even if I want to send an item to an address different from mine.
Before buying anything, check out the item at other sites to compare, and don't get swayed by the TV host's selling technique.
No on-line company is perfect, but I am convinced that HSN does better than most(if only they would drop the Euro-Pro vacuum cleaner line).
