Nextel has truly transformed over the last 4-5 years in the Washington/Baltimore market. About 18 months ago I was about to leave Nextel for another carrier because of growing pain on the Wash/Balt network. I have here to stay now. Calling plans and flexibility are the pluses on the Nextel network. I am a technology consultant and as such I need to have bells and whistles as I am traveling around. Nextel offers solid coverage, free roaming, tons of features and now unlimited rate plans. I am paying $99 for all I can eat access.

New phone are here also. Once of the things you hear as a nextel subscriber is your phone is to big and clunky. Well take a look at the i85s and the i50sx. Nice little phones with tons of features. Look for my i85s review.
