Sports Interaction claims to be the first regulated sports gaming site to be based in North America(Canada). This is a big deal, as many people get nervous(and rightfully so) with off-shore betting sites. I now see more online gaming sites popping up in Canada.
I have been using the service for about six months. They offer the standard 10% bonus on opening deposits. Sports Interaction does not offer any other kind of betting games, so if you are looking for a combination of that and sports betting, look elsewhere.
They offer betting on all U.S. team sports, soccer, tennis, golf, australian rules football, horse racing, car racing, etc. They are pretty extensive. I only bet on football, hockey, & golf, so I can touch on them. Everyday during the hockey season, they will have the lines for all of the games up by at least noon. These will include moneyline, goal line, and goal total.
For golf, the site is a lot better than most sites. They will put up lines for every tournament. Some have more extensive betting options for others. For example, during this years Masters, they had betting options for every single pairing during every day of the tournament. I was astonished. However, for some tournaments they will only put up betting for the winner and a few head to head or 3-ball match ups before the tournament starts.
Minimum bet for anything is $1. I'm not sure about the maximum, but I think for most things it is $500 for straight bets. They offer straight bets, combinations, and parlays based on the multiplication technique. I won't explain that, but it is pretty standard. Their rules do a good job of explaining it. They will let you bet up to a minute before the contest starts.
The java interface is interesting, quick, and for the most part impressing. If I knew what bet I wanted, it would probably take me about 2 minutes total to make it. The site is rarely down and updated often. On certain computers I have used, their site has had trouble fully loading and sometimes logging in, so that might cause some minor problems.
You can open an account in a few minutes with a credit card. Extra deposits can easily be done any time with a credit card. They do offer other payment forms though. The only negative is when you want to withdraw money, they don't do add it back to your credit card. It will be sent by mail with a check. I think this is true for most sites though.
The site is safe and the customer service is great(i hear this is unusual for online gaming sites). If one night you have a question or problem, click on the live help, ask a question, and when you wake the next morning, the question will be answered. Do not be nervous opening an account with Sports Interaction. It's a great way to have some fun while placing a few bets. But remember not to get carried away.
