Here is my list of the worst movies of the 1980s. Avoid these movies at all cost. I watched them so you don't have to. You have been warned. 10.The Running Man 1987-How this movie got past the cutting room floor is beyond me. The whole plot consists of Arnold just running around in circles with his stunning female companion dodging bad guys with chain saws and hockey sticks. Yeah, you get the idea. You know you are in trouble when Richard Dawson is the best actor in your movie. 9.Robocop 1987-Why does every director view the future as a war ridden world with robots running ramped on society. Yeah, and the cops are controlled by a large corporation called OCP. Yeah, like that will ever happen. 8.Never Say Never Again 1983-Sean Connery is back as the role as James Bond. What could go wrong, everything. The whole movie is a tired remake of a Bond classic called Thunderball. And badly done at that. Connery looks sluggish and Kim Basinger was one of the worst Bond girls ever. Worst movie of the series. Lame villian all so. 7.Over The Top 1987-Hmmm, Stalone stars as an arm wrestler. Watch out people, because Stallone is on a rampage to mediocrity. 6.Superman IV:The Quest For Peace 1987-Superman vs Nuclear Man. And watch how Superman moves the moon and carries women into space with out a helmet or suit. At least the other Superman movies had something going for them. This pathetic excuse for a movie does not have one single scene worth mentioning. The other Superman movies at least had that to fall on to. 5.Karate Kid III 1989-How many times can you stand watching Ralph I forget his last name getting beat up with Mr Muagi coming to his rescue. Maybe once. With all the practicing and training he suffered through he should have been a much better fighter. 4.Missing in Action 1984-Chuck Norris stars in this one. That should tip you of right there. And why does every Asian have to be a terrorist or a child abuser. The one liners were even worse. Don't get me wrong, I actually like most of Chuck's movies. There cheesy but the fights are usually quite good. This movie did not even have any good fights, never mind any mind blowing fights. 3.Gymkata 1985-A gymnist who can beat the crap out of people. Throw in no plot and you have one of the worst movies ever to exist. 2.Mannequin 1987-A mannequin that comes to life. And that is the only girlfriend this loser can find. A living mannequin. 1.No Holds Barred-Hulk Hogan stars in this WWF drama about a crazed wrestler named Zuess who wants to wring Hogan's neck. One of if not the worst movie ever.  |
