I've read literally dozens of reviews/articles of Geforce 2 MX cards, yet not one has mentioned this "feature". That, plus the fact that a video card has virtually nothing to do with "bootup time" whatsoever, makes me pretty skeptical of this claim.

AGP 4X does not provide "double the speed" of AGP 2X. Even though the bus bandwidth is doubled, the graphics card's own internal memory bandwidth is the bottleneck 99% of the time. In other words, AGP 4X only provides a few percentage points of extra speed, if anything at all.

The Geforce 2 MX is not the "World's Newest Graphics Processing Unit", which isn't surprising since it's almost a year old. Other cards--including the Geforce 3--have been released since then.
