The Bottom Line This is a wonderful book club for both me and my baby!
I would like to tell you about Baby's First Book Club. If you have an infant child, or are expecting one, take note!
I was introduced to Baby's First Book Club when my daughter was about 3 months old. I received something in the mail that said I could get all this stuff for $1.98. It was free, I just paid the shipping & handling. I didn't sign up at first, but later ran into it again and thought I'd send it in. At that time, I sent no money.
A few weeks later, I received this huge box. She received foot rattles, which were cute little sock rattles. She loved them the second I put them on her! I also received a book entitled "My First Winnie-The-Pooh". It's a 'soft story book' that unzips into a book and zips into a suitcase looking square with handles to it. This particular book has small parts that could come off. I don't let her play with it, but it's a good book and looks cute with the stuffed animal collection she has but doesn't play with yet. She got a big face book called "Look At Me". It's a round book that looks like a baby with a pacifier in his mouth. Around the edges it has different textured tabs all around. It's a book inside and has a mirror on the back. Amanda loves this book as well. I also received a 'Mother and Child' book for me with the first shipment. Sorry, I haven't read it, but it's a nice book.
A month later, we got another shipment. This time, she got a pillow book called, "Amadeus Is Happy" This is a soft pillow book. The pages fit within a book and turns into a pillow perfectly suitable for my baby. In addition, she received two small, cardboard books, "I Am A Baby" and "Sleepy Baby". With this shipment, I received my first bill for $21.69. I eagerly sent this in so we could continue our shipments.
Today, I received another shipment. I got a parents book about first aid that looks like a wonderful book! Mandy got another pillow book and a cute little toy called "Shake, Rattle & Read with Lulu". This is a purple elephant with a book under his face, teething handles on the side, and a mirror on the back. Again, she loves it! My bill for this shipment is $19.47.
Baby's First Bookclub has sent me books that my baby absolutely loves. They are all geared toward the age of my daughter and they are all original, fun book/toys. The prices are a wonderful 'bang for the buck'. I can't wait to see what they'll send next!
