Hi Virginia,
The star power has faded more each year, but we´re looking for a comeback.
It really is a neat festival. The whole country is at least somewhat interested, plus it is televised around Latin America and Spain.

How I like the idea of a festival that includes so many headliners at a price that most can afford. You have made me think that Chile is a remarkably lovely place. Don't know how I missed reading this four years ago.

Thanks for asking. I came to Santiago in Jan. 90´to visit the beautiful woman who later became my wife. I never left!
We moved to Concon,sort of a suburb of Viña del Mar, in Nov. It is incredible here. We are across the road from the Pacific Ocean cliffs, with our own swimming pool, and rent costs less than my twin home house payments in Minnesota.
