The Bottom Line Lasting power, shine and color selection are three key elements in polish selection. Essie covers all the bases and scores a home run with me!
I am writing about Essie Polish, which is not given as a choice in the Polish category. I have been a die-hard fan of O.P.I. polish for a few years now and until recently would not use anything else. A few months back I came across a line of Polish called "ESSIE". It is a polish that you will find at a salon, beauty supply house or upscale spa. I have found it to be wonderful! Love It, Love it, Love it! Essie Polish comes in a variety of colors, many colors to be exact, it's hard to tell the difference in many of the shades. They have fun, quirky names that speak for the color with well description. Some examples are: Marshmallow (a great soft white), Hot Tomato (a true summer red), Hot Tamale (perfect red for those pedicured toes) and Angel Food (a pale white/pink). These are just a few, my favorites of course. I would have to say that they make well over 75 shades. Aside from the color selection, other reasons for my love of the Essie line are the brush, which is slender for great application. Next, staying power~ This color does not fade off the tips of my nails or toes. I wear acrylics and get them done every two weeks, I have never touched up with a top coat between appointments to bring back the shine. The shine lasts from the initial application! This polish tops the lasting quality of O.P.I., something I thought was impossible to beat. It is in the same price range, about $6 a bottle. Check out Essie Polish and keep those fingers and toes looking fantastic baby! |
