My 2004 Subaru Forester was a great buy!

Pros: Roomy, handling is nice, 6CD changer, and More

Cons: No Light in the glove compartment, the sun shades or wisers are not great

The Bottom Line: Great car! would do it all over again if I had to.

sathyg's Full Review: 2004 Subaru Forester
This is my first ever Subaru and I have had it for over one year and it has served me well. If I had to buy it all over again I would do it in a heartbeat. Here are the things I liked about the car:
1. It drives great, it is really smooth and comfortable
2. Gas mileage is great and very economical for an AWD.
3. Heated seats, a must on cold winter day
4. The sunroof is to die for! It is amazing to be able to stand in the car and look out.
5. Rear window wipers
6. 6 CD changer
7. Rear view mirror with the compass and auto dimming
8. Lots of space to put stuff, and there is even room to go camping in the back.
9. The roof rack is sturdy and can carry a lot of stuff when properly loaded
10. The power outlet in the back is great when you need to have a cooler or TV going.
11. Auto climate control is nice feature especially when you are trying to drive in bad weather.
12. Response time when you accelerate is reasonable for a 4-cylinder car.

Things that could be improved:
1. Light in the cubby or glove box
2. Extensions in the sun wisers to block out the sun, so you can pull them out when they are needed
3. Role down window on the trunk lid or 5th door (like the old Buick station wagons used to do)
