Great entertaining review.
Just a few quick things. You mentioned that Samantha gets married and her husband moved in. The little kid that you thought was her husband's son was a foster child Tony and Angela ended up taking care of - I have no idea how that came to happen. But he was originally from the same neighborhood as Tony, so that was part of the reasoning there. I think. =)
About the job Tony was offered at the end of the show. I thought it was a job as a professor at the college. Tony had gone to school to be a teacher. So I think the job offer was as a professor, but I could be wrong since it has been a while since I saw that episode.
I still see an episode every once in a while.

I loved your comment about Judith Light's hair not fitting in the frame - so true. I always thought her hair was so atrocious.
Among the list of shows that didn't know when to call it quits before getting really bad, i would like to add "Ellen".

My List (Reply to this comment)

1. I could not stand this show.
2. Tony Danza was the major reason for it.
3. Judith Light was much better on One Live to Live.
4. Strangely, I'm attracted to Alyssa Milano at this age -not when she was on this show.

An Interesting Analysis!!! (Reply to this comment)

You've really covered a lot of ground here!
I know what you mean about some shows not knowing when to quit.
Take the sixties soap Dark Shadows.
We first had a vampire named Barnabas, and he stole the show.
So, they decided to include a werewolf named Quinton next, and--while he never quite had the pull that Barnabas did--he was also great.
But--after the writers/producers decided that, having done that well with their original vampire and werewolf, they should go around changing everybody into vampires and werewolves, the show became ridiculously-unwatchable for me! :o)

You're the Boss!!! You're the Boss!!!
Damn, what an in-depth review. Absolutely unreal! And you know what the sad thing is... I knew everything you mentioned. *sigh*
BTW, I just saw an episode of Everyone Loves Raymond where Katherine Helmond, along with Robert Culp, play Ray's parents-in-law. She's still around. I'm so sad.
Thanks for this great contribution. I'm definitely looking forward to your other two reviews.

Once again, you're fascinating little personality shows through, Davey. However saying that Boy Meets World was past its prime before it was cancelled is short-sighted. The show was farce and it was great in its last years.

Hey. She was in Brazil and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas!
She's not totally washed up...she's a favorite of Terry Gilliam.
(oh...good review)
