How long before a bill is reentered at Where's George? (Reply to this comment)

Someone posted a nifty bar chart showing how long it takes bills to be reentered at Where's George? and it seems to be very similar to your experience of "first three months" after the initial entry. From this guy's bar graph, it appears that more bills are reentered during the first month, than *ALL* the bills that are reentered between the first full year up to the beginning of the second year of "sleeping". I first discovered it in Atlanta, GA. Young hipsters I work with now know about it.
and I think it was people in California that made the Where's George people have to put up notices that you shouldn't go to the bank, withdraw all your savings in $1 bills, stamp them all, and then take them back to the bank the next day. Apparently a couple people caught the eyes of the Secret Service and/or BATF/DEA.
Nice slam on CA, though. :)

I've occassionally written on bills, but that only tells the current holder where it's been.
Not only was that interesting info on the site but a great review of it.

I've been playing on "where's george" for a few months - but I have yet to see anything come of it. I haven't put in any bills in a long time, either. LOL
I never was a numbers-nut (I'm an Arts student! ;D), but this site is pretty cool. Great lil' review on it!

nobody ever reports my bills. My hit meter thing is only 9.52%.
Someone did find one of my bills in a parking lot of a 7-11 though (and it was a twenty). Lucky them :o)

I have wondered about this quite a bit. I work in a Moto Mart convenient store and I see it all the time. Always wanted to visit, just never got around to it. Thanks for the info, very interesting!
