Hi Bonnie! I'm curious how your experiment works. I don't see why it wouldn't, provided you used the "open" cleaning cartridge within a few days. Interesting thought!

After starting the assembly I realized the directions for putting it together was in the bottom section - although it was not really step-by-step with photos demonstrating.

Mine is not put together tightly, the last piece did not slide in and it won't come out, so it is hanging on!

I was curious to know if we can store a pad inside so that it is handy for when needed and if it will dry out if not being used immediately.

Might try doing this tomorrow. I already used one pad today.
