Is the SW1000XG compatable with WinXP? I have heard that there are no drivers for XP. Have you tied the card with XP?

OMG! Mike, thank you! It was a goof....forgot to set it...it is on no when you submit and if you are not careful and remember to change it...well...you know! Thanks so much!

I was a little confused by the fact that under "Recommended" at the top of your opinion it says "NO". Quite a number of kudos in the review for something on your not recommended list. Then I took a look at how the opinion was categorized. You might want to edit that NO out, as it can be rather confusing. Good review. I'm playing around with mixing sound myself, and this sounds like something to have.

I have to say this. The card makes a midi sound "almost" like I popped a CD in my Bose.

Seriously.. I bet a sexy chunk of soundcard such as that Yamaha would make MIDIs sound like gold.

I have a brother that is really into producing his own music and I am thinking about giving it to him. He could get much more from it that I.
