I have had my XC70 for a year now, and I have nothing to complain about it. The leather seats are extremely comfortable and the heated seats make a cold day a memory. I bought this car because I have a new born and I wanted my wife and my son to be in a tank, and at almost 4000 lbs that's exactly what this car is. For a car that weighs that much it moves when you hit the gas, passing on the highway is a breeze. The controls for the a/c - heat as well as the stereo are as easy to use as anything. Having the audio controls on the steering wheel is a bonus, never have to take my eyes off the road. The AWD handles snow/rain better then my Subaru did, though the Subaru was a great car, not as "Strong" as the Volvo though. You know exactly what kind of car your getting in when you shut the door, it makes that confident solid slam. The only thing I wish were better is the mileage, I am getting about 21/mpg on the highway and 18 in the city, but the 18 gallon tank is big enough to last a week. So not too terrible, I guess average for a car of this size from what I hear. But it's worth it for the safety of it. Knock on wood, no problems!!
