Very hard to get your money.
The Bottom Line: Avoid this firm at all costs. Shopping for a merchant account can be time consuming, but it's time well spent.

Cardservice International is the merchant services company that you are getting involved with. They pride themselves on superior customer service. What you get is treated like a felon.
No matter what you do to try to avoid getting your transactions sent to their fraud department, they keep raising the bar. Any transaction that they think might be a "problem" they freeze your entire account. Not just the charge in question. They then demand that you provide them with a never ending supply of supporting documentation as to why you are not trying to defraud them. They do it all because "they just want to protect you." You supply documents, then they ignore you for weeks. Then, if you manage to actually get someone on the phone, they demand more documentation. All the time you run charges on your merchant account and they pile up. None of your money gets released.
I would provide them with signed receipts and they would ask if I could provide an "Impression of the Card." They actually wanted me to use a card impression machine! You know those antiques that you ran the handle across the card. When is the last time anyone has seen one of those?
Cardservice Internation deserves nothing. Their customer service should be called customer harasment. Avoid this firm at all costs.
Good luck ever getting your money from them. They don't like to give it up without a fight.
If you think a merchant account will make your life easier, do not even think about dealing with these people.
