The Online Reservations ... (Reply to this comment)
by royalcrowncola
I loved your comment, "They do offer online booking - send an email to their reservations department! It tells you that if you don't receive a reply within 2-3 days, send a reminder and if you still don't receive a reply, send an email direct to the Managing Director, and gives his email address! I fly with a small regional airline outta Wilson Airport in Nairobi...and, they have a similar kind of reservation system. It can leave you in a state of anxiety ...

Cheers Chris,
Yes indeed, I do enjoy the smaller airlines and it is particularly nice when they turn out to be so good! Hope to be trying a few more soon!

It's fun being able to write about them, but even better when the ops are read, so thank you for your comment, appreciated!

Hi Michelle thanks for the comment. Yes it was rather good! And on a 90 minute flight! If you ever fancy going to Bhutan - or Kathmandu - I can recommend it!

I see the tour of little known airlines continues, and you've found some gems along the way!

Bhutan, now that really sounds like a fascinating place, although I understand they strictly control the numbers of incoming tourists. Good luck, I hope you get to visit - I'd love to read about what you think of it!

Re: Nepal via Delhi. (Reply to this comment)

Hi, no Druk Air don't fly to Europe, only to India, Bangladesh, Thailand and Myanmar. You could get a flight to Delhi or Dhaka and pick them up from there. It may work out cheaper as there are lots of deals to and from Delhi. Whether it would be quicker depends on the schedules into and out of Delhi, but it could work out quicker.

Good luck!

Nepal via Delhi. (Reply to this comment)

Can you get a Druk Air flight from the U.K. all the way to Nepal, via Delhi?

Business class for $180 (Delhi- Kathmandu) sounds good.

Do you think that this is a quicker route than going via Doha? How long was the entire journey?

With best wishes,
G&T.
