Hi there, I just found your article... great French press coverage! The French press is my favorite way to drink coffee, as well. I wanted to let you know about a really fabulous French press cozy I found a few years ago -- it's called a Koffee Kozee, and I got it at this website: http://www.koffeekompanions.com. It's the best cozy I've found so far, and I searched the Web a LOT! It has thinsulate in it, so it works really well. My coffee will stay really hot during the brewing process and about 45 min. after. Anyway, thanks for the article!

Another problem with fine ground... (Reply to this comment)

That I found out the HARD WAY, is that if it is TOO fine, it will clog the screen and result in 1 of 2 messy actions.
1. You'll get a pressure surge that spurts coffee and grounds all over the kitchen
or
2. If you are using a glass one the bottom will get broken out resulting in a glassy mess all over the floor.

Thanks for the advice, I LOVE mine.
