Well, Heather (Reply to this comment)

Did you take the "challenge" with an extremely heavy subject or did you? And, you excelled. Nice job! Stay well
(those break-ups alone are horrendous; but, add a child dependent upon you for his/her stability, it's the nightmare of all nightmares. I had two of these & don't think I'll ever be in the market for anymore, either, I don't mind telling you!) Take care of yourself and your little one.

in the write-off with such a personal story. I hope it will help others realize that it is possible to survive the worst situations. Best wishes to you and your family.

Your bottom line summed this all up so beautifully. I missed not reading at your page and just saw your id on something I rated so came over to see what you have been up to.
Thanks for sharing your feelings of the past and I hope life in Colorado for the three of you continues on a postive note.
Take care

re: A poem for you! (Reply to this comment)

After reading your review I thought of a poem I read to one of my clients:
Daniel was a white and graceful seagull.
He had everything to live for.
But things didn't go right.
He gave up.
He didn't want to live anymore.
The other seaguls thought,
"If Daniel gave up, we should give up, too."
One seagull thought for a very
long time, though.
While the others folded up their
wings
miserably,
he kept his eyes open wide and
his wings free to fly.
And he was the only one who
felt
when the new wind of morning
brought freshness and
lift.

What matter is you survived! (Reply to this comment)

I feel bad that you resorted to self-mutilation in dealing with your pain. If you had seeked professional help way earlier, you may have avoided that action. When you are able to talk about it, that's a sign of improvement. Good luck, you deserve it! ...MzRizz.
