by Freak369 | Aug 23 '05
I am a sucker for the old school games like Simon’s Quest [Castlevania] for the NES and GameBoy Doctor Mario; sadly trying to find accessories for the NES as well as older titles for the GameBoy are hard to find. If you go retail most of the time ...

Worst Online Store to buy any video game related items. (Reply to this comment)

Game Asylum has to be the worst online video game store I have ever dealt with. I bought a Wii controller from the site only to find out ONE week later that they were sold out. They update their site very SLOWLY.

*Buyers beware*
Their customer support has to be the worst for any company. They do have a phone number you can contact them, however, there is a recording on their phone line telling the customer to email there customer support. Could it even be called a customer support? ONE person is in charge of this area and sometimes it takes from 1-3 days before he replies keeping you out of the blue. As I was waiting for information about my order which I cancled later out of disgust, the person on their "customer support" didn't reply back which got me thinking am I getting scammed? Also, after somewhat communicating with their "customer support" I was told that the wii controller I bought will be shipped on monday of the following week. Stupid me to believe them and after one week passed, I recieved no confirmation email nor anything. Once again I contacted their "customer support" and again, inquired about my order, it turns out that they havn't even charged me for the controller more less shipped it. I finally canceled the order and bought the wii controller.
