Pros: Family plan, T-Mobile to T-Mobile plan
Cons: No loyalty.
Older model cell phone vs newer model cell phone.
The Bottom Line: I would not reccomend T-Mobile to anyone at this point but in the past I have reccomended several friends.

| lori6336's Full Review: Powertel Mobile Phone Service in Atlanta |
My husband and I have been long standing customers with Powertel since 1999 and stood by when they became Voicestream and then T-Mobile.
We have been loyal for 6 years and have 4 phones on the family plan and have reccomended several of our freinds to T-Mobile where we enjoy the mobile to mobile. We live in a era where everyone is swiching from service to service to save $1.00 I think that means something, wheather it be cell service, long distance home phone service, home phone service or cable vs satelite.
HOWEVER, I've recently become dis-satisfied with the customer service that I'm getting and have realised T-Mobile does not reward loyalty.
My husband and I have moved to Waleska, Ga from North of the Metro Atlanta area and discovered we do not have cell service 99 % of the time with in a 15 mile radius of home. I was discussing this with a T-Mobile customer (co-worker) when she informed me that she also has T-Mobile and DOES have service in most of the same areas, she suggested that I try a new phone with a stronger signal. So my husband and I went into a T-Mobile store to inquire about upgradding and we were told we would have to purchase the phone. Yes they offered a discount, T-mobile was offering to allow us to purchase the phone for $39.99 but that same phone would of been free to a new customer and with our phones being out of contract we were told this would be to our advantage.
As I said... Loyalty does not pay. T-Mobile would rather loose a 6 year customer then to bend and let us pay the 20.00 upgrade fee to exchange 3 of our phones.
All I'm asking for is service when its being paid for. If T-Mobile has signal in our area and I'm told they do then I should also. My money is the same as any other customer and I pay my bill. All I asked for from T-Mobile is to give me what they would be giving a new customer that bought a plan today.
We also have problems with drop calls constantly, messages being left on our cell phones when the phone has not wrung and our phones beeping, telling us we have a message and then upon retriving our message find that it was left on our phone the day before.
This is POOR service and I refuse to be loyal any longer.
I would respect and appreciate any responses especially if you have any suggestions.
