Good price but is it a pipe dream or bait-n-switch?

I would continue looking at this point in the game. Ever heard of the phrase "you get what you pay for?" There is no better way to put this.
Yes the price and selection can't be beat but you are paying for software that will just sit and take up space. It barely works as a stand alone media player let alone as a portal to all the music you could possibly ever want. I do like that I can fill my MP3 player with all the stuff I could possibly ever want.
My first week of having this service I had to write support. There is no phone support to get help. It stopped working because it thought I had it on more than three computers when this is the only one it has ever been on. I wrote them and provided my Yahoo use name, real name, phone number, and a detailed description of the problem. A week goes by and finally they write back and said that in order for them to be able to help me they would need my user ID. I wrote them back again and mentioned my ID at least 5 times in the e-mail. Two weeks go by and I get an e-mail saying they reset my machine count. That worked for a while.
Now I am getting errors downloading songs, License Request Error 0x8004DB8A. I have been experiencing this error for at least a month. Prior to that was a similar error when I tried to transfer songs to my device. They still haven't given me a clear answer on that either. The whole license thing is a bit confusing. There are different types. On-Demand, Stream, and Burn. Some songs you can download and put onto a player, some songs you can only stream and listen to but can't save, and others you have to buy. What I don't like is when it lists an artist and they don't have any tracks for them at all, like Matt Bruno.
So all in all this service was rolled out way too early and its way too buggy and they are not providing the necessary support to resolve any issue. It's not a good media player. It's not a good on-demand service, and it's not a good to-go service. The only part that kind of works is the pay to burn service. The music selection is fantastic though. I am surprised that even with my weird tastes in music (Tipsy, Dim Dim, Messer Chups, etc...) it found almost all the stuff I like and helped me find stuff I never heard of before. The downside is you can't browse like a traditional store. It will tailor what you see based on your ratings and what you have and guess at what you think you might like. Its surprisingly pretty accurate though but I wish I could just browse the entire collection.
