Please do not advise people to run over the glove. You wont your glove to be nice and flexible and fit the hand not all flat.

Years ago for my son, I would rub the whole glove with linseed oil and tie it up tight all night with a baseball in the pocket of the glove. And then his job the next day would be to break the glove in by throwing the ball hundreds of times into the pocket with his right hand while wearing the glove. This would need to be repeated for about a week. This will have the glove broken in to both the size of a baseball and his own hand.
