I recently ordered an mp3 player that was in stock. The website warned of a 48hr delay in shipping while they upgraded thier shipping center. 3 days later I called and asked when my item would ship. I was informed that it would now be 5-7 days until my item shipped. I expressed my distress over the matter and the guy said they would drop the shipping charges on my order because of the delay.
I expressed concern that I would not be getting my player due to the fact that the website now showed it as "sold out". He said that I was going to get my player, just that shippment would be delayed.
Well now its been well over 10 days since I ordered this item. When I check order status on the website it now shows as "Backordered".
I've emailed TigerDirect 3 times with no reply and the only time I got to talk to a person was when I lied on the phone promt and said I wanted to order a computer system.
If you just check order status it sends you to a computer automated system that will tell you nothing you do not know by checking the website.
Tiger Direct basically will lie to your face and ignore you until you go away.
I will never order from this site again.
Stick with newegg.com or some other trusted dealer for electronics.
