There are many different brands to choose from in the home gym market. Some are good, and some are bad. I had a hard time choosing when I was buying a home gym, but I eventually made the right choice. Anyway, here are some of the top brands in home gyms.
Cybex - Cybex is without doubt the best regarding different exercise machines. From just looking at Cybex equipment, you can tell that the build quality is just incredible. Then, go ahead, and feel the machines. The build quality is very strong and good. They also look real good. Then, you decide to try out the machines. They work with ease. Nearly silent operations. I especially love their chest press, shoulder press, and rowing machines. Cybex also makes top-of-the-line treadmills... Cybex also makes some of the best free-weights and machine weights on the market. They have a cool metallic color, and their quality is just incredible. I know someone with Cybex free weights and bench press, and they haven't wore down at all even after all of his long vigorous exercises. Other brands of free weights begin to wear down and rust much faster than Cybex weights. So, if you want the best quality home gym possible, then buy Cybex. However, Cybex doesn't come cheap at all... You pay for that premium quality. A very steep price. If you want something cheaper, then look at the other brands that I will mention below.
Nautilus - Nautilus is another great brand in the home gym market. They make very many different exercise machines for different parts of the body. The quality is very good, despite their somewhat cheap look. You can build an entire gym based only upon Nautilus equipment. The equipment they build is very high quality, and quite popular. You can't really go wrong with Nautilus. Regarding build quality, Nautilus is a step down from Cybex, but they are still significantly better than most other brands that you can find. However, you still have to pay for that good quality. Like Cybex, Nautilus isn't cheap. Also, the Nautilus selection of machines is larger than Cybex... So, if you want a huge home gym, and got a lot of money to spend, then Nautilus maybe what you're looking for.
Bowflex - The best piece of equipment ever built. Watch the infomercials. You will hear a lot of the Bowflex... You may be saying "yeah right". But believe it or not, Bowflex is everything that it is said to me. I have a Bowflex Power Pro... It's the greatest piece of exercise equipment that I've ever used. What I like about it is that it has 60 exercises all in one, and it's so small and easy to use! It's like having a huge gym right in your own home! People say that it is expensive, but for all that it does, it's NOT! You'd have to spend thousands of dollars to get what the Bowflex does in your own home. So, the Bowflex is an effective and easy solution for a great home gym! Bowflex is the best! Woohoo!
Nordic Track - It is another maker of exercise equipment. It is cheaper than Cybex and Nautilus, but it is still rather good. If you want a full gym for maybe a couple of thousand dollars, then Nordic Track is a good solution. They make a lot of different kinds of machines for the different muscles in the body. The quality isn't as high as Nautilus or Cybex, but it is still very good. Many people I know use Nordic Track equipment, and are quite happy with it, or atleast they aren't dissapointed in any way.
