Sadly, diets don't work.... (Reply to this comment)
by dianapinions
at least not for people with chronic, significant weight issues. At best, people just yo-yo, going down, then back up again. (and that's so sad, after investing all that energy and money on the diet). Weight Watchers would not stay in business if it weren't for all the repeat dieters signing up over and over again. Same with all the other diets out there. None have any data that show that people keep the weight off more than a year, at best. Unfortunately.

I've wondered if there was something in the water at the meetings! It is a good program if you can figure out how to stick to it long term. I just wasn't able to figure that part out.

I used WW online to drop 15 pounds after Kid #2 and liked it quite a bit. I still remember the points of many foods !

Unless........ (Reply to this comment)

...............you want another baby I'd say stay away from those meetings! LOL Seems you got pregnant every time you went back.
My oldest daughter does WW in much the same way as you have.....she does great for a while, then it falls apart on her, then she gets back to the meetings.
Having children definitely changes your body and the ease/difficulty in which weight will come off.
This was a great and very informative write up of WW, ME and I'm sure it will be very helpful for those considering the plan.
.............Make it a great day........kath

and stay with it....
I also wrote a review about this and when I cheat and add a little weight...its not all that terrible...I know how to "get back" into common sense and reduce again.
Thanks.
