I own two of those units, one black and one white. The white one had an electrical problem early in its life, but after the warranty period. It cost about $120.00 to get it fixed, besides all the heartache and pain of not having it during that time, finding a place to fix it, etc. The black one is older and still has not had a problem, except for having a dirty heads on the VCR player. Overall, we like the GE 13" TV/VCR combos and are happy that we got the broken one fixed, even tho the repair cost was quite high.

Im how this unit does over time. My experience (and what I've heard as well) are that combo units tend to have problems and don't last all that long.

Thanks for the review.
