After reading the reviews about Botach Tactical Online here, I thought maybe people were just being harsh and I would try placing an order with them. My order was for two MS STANAG to Picatinny Adaptors - $20, no big deal.
Okay, so I placed the order on their website and selected paypal as the payment type. Everything went fine, until it directed me over to paypal - their e-mail address on the link was invalid. So for a week my order just sat their in limbo. I kept getting e-mails from Botach saying my order was pending. I attempted to e-mail their customer support address on their website to inform them that their paypal link was coming up invalid, but their customer service e-mail was bouncing! Great. Finally I called and left a message on their machine. Never heard back. Finally I just figured my order was history. Then, much to my surprise, I noticed a pending payment due in my paypal account. So I figured I would go ahead and pay it.
Before they got payment, I was getting e-mails every day saying my order was pending... as soon as I made payment, that was the last I heard of them. I e-mailed the address on the paypal confirmation (kleyzion@yahoo.com) - nothing. I tried their on-line "live" help - noting. Just messages over and over again saying someone would be there to help in a minute.
After 20 minutes, I gave up and tried calling. Voice mail. I called back, ended up on hold, then someone picked up the line said "Bota" and hung-up. Gee thanks. I called back. A woman (who apparently just learned English) took my confirmation #, then said "We are waiting for your payment via paypal". I explained I made payment 13 days ago and she went on to explain they had just checked all the paypal payments and mine wasn't there. I told her payment was made to "kleyzion@yahoo.com" and she said "Yeah". Then she said she would check with a manager or something and would call me back in "10 minutes". I'm not holding my breath.
Oh, did I mention the link to UPS where I can "track my order" - doesn't work. Thanks guys.
Avoid these guys at all costs. They obviously don't care about customers and based on my experience, the people who work at the company either just showed up from the welfare office or couldn't hack it at 7-11 - or both.
